What is the difference between your course and other Pilate’s courses?
APPI was co-founded by Elisa Stanko and Glenn Withers. As physiotherapists, they recognise the demand for more specific pilates training which targets the higher theoretical and practical experience of higher degree therapists, presents the most current research relevant to pilates and teaches a realistic framework of exercises to apply in the clinical setting.
APPI courses are different to traditional pilates courses as these may lack the specificity and research base for use as a clinical tool in the professional health care setting. To ensure the continual development of our health care professions, it is vital that our techniques are based on scientific evidence.
All APPI Presenters are also Physiotherapists/ Rehabilitation therapists.
Where do the courses take place?
The APPI`s Head Office is located in Kilburn, North West London. The APPI has three regional venues located in Manchester, Edinburgh and Northern Ireland. Host courses are held throughout the UK and Ireland. The APPI also delivers courses in Portugal, Germany, Turkey, Brazil and Australia. For more information about APPI International please click here
